With a few weeks on the East Coast and really nothing to do, I will get the chance to try an unbelievable amount of beers that were previously unattainable and hopefully plan a few brewery visits. Not to mention, bring back a ton of beer to share in Paris. Fresh off the plane and eager to drink some American brews, today's beer adventures included a trip to the the brand new (opened about a month ago)
Barcade Jersey City and a stop at to the local bottle shop here in Hoboken. Despite being incredibly jet lagged, I managed to stay awake until they opened at noon and pretty much had the place to myself. Enjoyed some impeccable draft beers, had some nice conversation with the friendly staff, and played a few classic video games...

Barcade: Simple, functional, and just an overall bad ass beer establishment! |

Started with a Double Platinum Blonde 7%abv. An amazing Pale Wheat from High Point Brewing. |
 |
Gave Frogger a go for the first time today; I might just stick to Pacman! |

Decisions, Decisions... |

My first Sixpoint brew; Righteous Ale. An awesome rye beer, will be on the look out for their new cans while I am in NJ! |

I had to show a little restraint at the beer shop today...I've got a few weeks! |
Not exactly sure what tomorrow has in store for me, but if things go according to plan, I might be visiting a couple of New York breweries...
Why are you back in the states?
