Pairing & Cooking with Beer!

Since being back in the states and having access to a large kitchen and a full fridge (thanks mom!) I have been doing my fair share of the cooking. Most of the time, beer can be integrated in your cooking and other times enjoying the right beer while eating can make the food that much better. Here are a few of my recent culinary conquests!

Wok Fried Vegetable Tempura & Brown Rice!

The clean bitterness, and zesty herbal hop presence of GB's Czech Pils was my substitute to the standard Rice Lager.

A hybrid of Tortilla Soup & Mexican Chili with all the fixings!

The maltiness and sweet character of Bob's 47 was a great thickening agent and also helped with the heat from the peppers and spices!

Wok Veggies & Tofu with Udon Noodles & Peanut Sauce!

The subtle citrus flavors and hint of breadiness from Zon, complimented this dish quite well.

  1. I really want to know how you make the wok veggie dish, I know it sounds self-explanatory but could you tell me how to make it? Or tell your sister to tell me. Thanks! Great posts.
